Board game café to open second store in Uxbridge (April 2022)

Board game café D20 is opening a new store in Uxbridge this summer, alongside a branch in Watford. The new D20 will have 900 board games, alongside food and drink, cocktails, regular events on weekdays and weekends and quizzes.

Page Costas, 36 year old owner of the original Watford branch expressed her excitement for the new coming store.

"Back when we first opened in 2017, Uxbridge was one of the places we were keen to be as I had previously lived there, and loved the area. As soon as we were in a position to expand Uxbridge was the first place we looked! We plan on bringing over a lot of our community events such as CCGs, social gaming events and quiz nights, as well as some new and exciting twists on our Watford café! Our Uxbridge café will also be an inclusive safe space with a chilled out vibe, excellent milkshakes and plenty of games to choose from." 

The café will be opening a new store on 21a Windsor Street, Uxbridge, UB81AB. This was previously Le Petit Beauty Salon.

Currently, they are renovating and part of that is creating a Shire (from Lord Of The Rings) themed back room, so they are spending lots of time on fun and unique details!

Categories for the games will include strategy, adventure, cooperative, two-player, over-18, trivia and many more. These events precisely consist of pub quizzes, Marvel matches and Dungeons & Dragons.
